Benefactor Bernice Carlson was a longtime school teacher who loved children and the rich diversity of the city. In her later years she provided the funding for several urban projects at Central Baptist Church. Among these ventures was the development of the Art Exhibition. Today, the Art Exhibition is funded in her honor. |
